Our Path Forward
Panhandle Bike Ranch is fighting to reopen our community bike park. After 10 months operating with Bonner County's approval, the county filed for an injunction, and a judge ruled in their favor, limiting use to family and close friends. We're pursuing a Conditional Use Permit (approved twice before) and appealing the injunction, possibly up to the Idaho Supreme Court, aiming to reopen for the 2027 season. Legal fees are now one of the biggest costs standing between us and getting the park back open to the public.

Started by Jen and Scott Kalbach after their sons fell in love with mountain biking, Panhandle Bike Ranch grew out of one family's love for this community and the outdoors.
