Frequently Asked Questions

What are the operating hours?

  • For the remainder of the 2025 season, we will be open Saturdays and Sundays: Shuttles run from 10am - 3pm
  • Our planned closing weekend is October 11th and 12th.

Do I need a pass to access the Panhandle Bike Ranch?

Yes. When you reserve your day pass, we will send you a gate code to access the Ranch. You can only access the Ranch with a gate code.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once you have reserved your passes we do not allow cancellations. We only have a certain number of shuttle spots per day. When you reserve a spot, it's locked in for that day.

If we have severe weather that requires us to close the trails at the Ranch, we will issue credits or refunds on a case by case basis.

How do we get to the Panhandle Bike ranch?

The Panhandle Bike Ranch is located in beautiful Sagle, Idaho. Our address is 607 Five Lakes Estates Sagle, Idaho 83860

We are located about 15 minutes from Sandpoint, an hour from Coeur d'Alene, and 1.5 hours from Spokane.

Please see the location page for our exact location and directions via Google maps.

How do I utilize my Loam Pass?

On your account in Loam Pass, you will see a code that you will need to apply to the 1 day pass on checkout. The code works once per order so you will need to checkout two separate times to use both of your Loam Pass days at the ranch. We will then check you in through Loam Pass and through our end once you arrive at the ranch.

How does riding at the Panhandle Bike Ranch work?

We shuttle you and your bike up to the top of the trails in a custom F-450 shuttle truck that holds 20 people and we pull a bike trailer that holds 20 bikes. When you get to the top, you ride down the trails and we meet you back at the bottom to bring you up again.

Do you have a peddle up day?

We are not offering peddle up days right now. We are working on an uphill trail for the 2026 season.

I'm new to bike parks, are the trails difficult?

We have trails for all skill levels and abilities. Our green trail (First Rodeo) is beginner friendly and is the longest trail at the Ranch. Please see our trails page for more information.

Do you allow fat tire bikes?

Fat tire bikes do not fit in our custom bike trailers, so they are not allowed on shuttle days.

Do you allow e-bikes?

We allow pedal assist e-mountain bikes only. Throttle assist e-bikes are not allowed.

Do you offer camping?

No, we do not offer camping at this time.

What facilities do you offer at the base area?

Right now we have a parking lot, some picnic tables and portable toilets.
