Job Description: EMS 

Panhandle Bike Ranch is a mountain bike shuttle bike park located in Sagle, Idaho. Our park is designed for all levels of riders. Riders will take our shuttle up and then descend one of our many well designed trails with plenty of opportunities to switch trails at intersections on the way down. We have both flow and tech trails with natural and man made features. Locals, families and travelers are welcome to come and enjoy a day or more of riding with us. Our team is friendly, positive, and absolutely ecstatic to be there and to have people from all over experience our trails. 

Benefits: Access to the bike park outside of operation hours on all open trails providing you shuttle or bike up yourself and at your own risk. 

EMS Position:

Part time- approximate hours are Fridays 12pm -7pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm with an occasional special event day with notice. This position may be combined between two or three people who commit to these days. 

Description: Primary responder and lead for all medical emergencies. This person will attend to injured riders until they are in the appropriate care. They will also be responsible for keeping all first aid supplies stocked, maintaining equipment and training staff for EMS assistance.

Requirements:

• NREMT certification preferred
• CPR certified
• Wilderness First Responder
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
  

Duties:

• In charge of the Emergency Response Plan and work with manager to divide duties
• Drive shuttle when no medical situation is at hand
• First Aid Training 
• First Aid Response
• Ordering and stocking first aid supplies and equipment
• Life Flight and other emergency response coordination and outreach

Wage: $20- 25 per hour depending on experience. Approximately 21- 28 hours per week.
